Value of Denning Sub Hilt Fighter Prototype?

I have a GenO Denning Sub Hilt Fighter prototype. It is in the same condition as it reached my from GenO. What is it worth if I were to sell it?

It is probably worth about what you paid for it. Just because it is a 'prototype' adds no value for me. I have plenty of custom knives that are completely unique and one of a kind. The value of GenO's work is increasing, but since someone could order a similar piece from GenO now, GenO's current price for a similar piece would set the mark. That does not mean that you could not get more from someone unwilling to wait, or was interested in collecting 'the first' of a particular model. Something is worth what someone is willing to pay. It is finding that customer that can be difficult.

Hi all that sub-hilt is one of three I made a year and a half into knife-makeing. A friend got the first one Ken has the second one and the third is double ground and unfinished hanging on the wall in my assy. room. Those were the only three ever made or will be made. I make a sub-hilt now but it is not the same. Stop by table 23-E at the blade show I hope to have one yall can look at. Ken if you want to get rid of it let me have first shot if you dont mind. I have a buddy that has cried ever since you got it. Thanks GenO
