Hey hogs

I have a mint limited edition Leaner Meaner- number 55 - that I am looking to sell. Snakeskin handle

I know these are fairly unusual, so what do you think is a fair price?

Figure if nobody here knows...then NOBODY knows :D

I would put it in the $750 - $800 range. You might be able to get a little more if you are willing to wait for the right buyer to come along, but in the range I stated, I think it would go fairly quickly, even in this soft market.
 
Welcome Bill! Are you sure the scales are snake skin, and not tigerhide? Tigerhide is more black & tan in appearance, where as snake skin has a variety of red, yellow, blue, and black. Either way man, she should fetch a pretty penny!
 
Ask Dan (Liu Kang) what he'd be willing to pay. I'm sure the trade value would be great!
 
Actually, I think you are right - they are tiger hide FWIW

I can get a picture up if need be

Deal done, baby! I am glad Dan found his grail. Now if only Jaxx would give up his Hammered AD and HACKtive Duty and Dark Nemesis needs to give up his original Off Duty and I'd be set with my grails... :foot:

I have sent messages to both Jaxx and Dark Nemesis. Jaxx has been fasionably late in response and Dark nemesis told me I'm well below Jaxx on the waiting list. :foot: Oh wait, you were referring to something else.. :foot::foot: :o

billf, since you have stated here that you intend to sell it, this thread is now what is usually called a fishing expedition... "I have this knife I'm going to sell, how much can I get?" ...And now you have several PM's, I'm sure. Not saying that you shouldn't ask, but next time just ask for current value and try to be as non-specific as you can while still getting the answers needed. BUT... Your biggest resource is researching the Busse/SwampRat ScrapYard For Sale Exchange by searching for others that have sold recently using the Search This Forum function.

With that said, I think that you have or are receiving the answers you came to find and so I'm locking this thread down before it degrades further into a sales/offer to buy thread. I cannot move it because the FS Exchanges are for actual sales, not queries.

BTW, You have a knife that is in high demand. I recommend doing as much research on value as possible before selling it to the the first person offering to buy... Just my $.02. :)
