What would be the value of a new 446 Goliath? I have one new with the factory nylon sheath. Neither shows wear, but I don't have a box or paperwork. The knife is still very sharp, and the sheath doesn't look like it's ever had the knife in it.

The sheath has a white tag sewn on the back (under the belt loop) that says BUCK over 446 over MADE IN over USA.

The sewn-on tag on the front flap is the colored (red, white, green) "triangle" Buck logo on a black background. The sheath is black with a (brass?) non-colored snap. The snap has three BUCKs in a circular pattern, each separated by a dot.

The stamp on the blade indicates that this Goliath was made in 1998. There are no "opening circles" on the kick.

The Goliath is cool:thumbup: I think I picked mine up in the low 20's but I was on a mission to get one cheap. They were common on the bay at the time. What a monster. It is the only folder I own that seems to me, too large to pocket carry. Nice pickup.

I bought one in Tn., in a pawn shop for $50. I didn't even know they existed. I thought I hit the mother load. I sold it for $30. I took a loss it seems...
