I have a dated(1917) & marked British Broad arrow acceptance marks,Kukri & sheath.
It was brought back by a relation from the 1st world war.
Besides sentimental value ,what might it be worth for insurance purposes.
I am just curious & have no plans to sell.
It has a wooden handle, with a leather covered ,wooden sheath.& has no accessory knives. Oh yes the blade is perfect,ie; no chips(very sharp)& well balanced.(like an extension of ones arm).
any help appreciated.
regards,rick.

Yes I agree with Tal. pictures definatly needed for any true appraisel.

So many possibilities out there in the ww1 kukri field.

Where did your relative serve? & which unit? Name & rank? any photos of him, any documents , pay books or medals to go with it?

Such things can greatly affect value as a combined unit.
