Hi Folks,

The other night I acquired a 1997 Schrade Endangered Species Set and was looking to find out what a general value would be on that set. Is this set a 1,500 production run like the Scrimshaw sets? This one is #226 of the production run. Knives and case are in excellent shape , but I was just curious as to what they are worth. Didn't even see a set of these on Ebay offered either currently or anytime this year.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Links to resources welcome too.

Hello and welcome to Bladeforums. Unfortunately registered users are not allowed to ask for value. It is a tactic that has been used in the past to circumvent our selling rules. Feel free to discuss your recently acquired knives but please, no questions or answers in regards to value.

Take a few minutes to read the site rules. You'll find links in my signature.

Thanks

Jason

The Endangered Species sets were limited to a production run of 1,000 sets. They were unique in that they did not have the usual heat-stamped artwork on ivory colored Dupont Delrin. The handles are ivory micarta and the artwork was laser engraved. They also came in a laser engraved white oak display case.
