Value of SOG Cocobolo Tomcat

Hey folks, sorry if this has already been asked and answered. I received this knife as a reward at work in 1998 and it has been in the box every since then. Never used, never sharpened, truly in mint condition with sheath and box.

Box is marked S22 Cocobolo Tomcat

Blade is stamped Seki Japan.

There is one listed on eBay right now for $429.

I am not a collector and have considered selling this knife. Please to the best of your abilities give me a good idea of what this knife is worth. Also, does anyone have an idea if the value will continue to increase?

Definitely a joke at $429. The seller must be trying to show off his knife or if hoping for someone to make a reasonable high bid!

The SOG Collector's website is a good resource to start with IMO if you're looking for info on sogs.

Values of knives are always increasing over the years, though not that greatly.

Values of knives are always increasing over the years, though not that greatly.

This guy would have sold that knife for $300 including shipping but that was still above my best offer for it. I think you could reasonably expect to get between $200 - $300 for it.
