Hey guys, I haven't been around long enough to have ever seen another one of these, much less one for sale. Those of you who know, can you give me your opinion on the value of a vintage Lil' Ugly? The knife is like new, but did cut an apple once. Pics are below. Thanks

ive seen very few come up for sale, but iirc, you price is in line with what i would expect.

but lots of new hogs may not be familiar with this blade, and im broke.

and the hack seems to have filled the niche previously held by the 3 finger and lil ugly.

a very nice piece!! i thought the price was in line!! not a New Guy knife though!! i would expect to see this slicing Filet Mignon at Tony's

You have defenitly got it priced way to high, please pm me and I will tell you what it is worth and we can then work out payment/shipping arrangements.;)

i have one, looks kind of like yours, and it's worth about $725.00 or so, for sure.

here's a couple of pics, they look the same, micarta is fairly close looking. mine has only cut up my dinner

The economic value is exactly what you can get a willing buyer to pay. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm aware of that MikeH, and there's a reason I'm asking for opinions of value. Thank you for yours

I have two of these and the second i bought at bladewest from a hog and i paid $500 with a sheath and its mint. The first was bought years ago and it was substantially less money of course. Nice blades. Good luck on the sale.

Looks like a forerunner of the Culti, I actually think it's a better looking knife.

It`s older than that. It was actually the forerunner of the Mean Street. By the time I started out as an apprentice, Jerry had stopped making them. I occationally saw a few unground blanks aound the shop, but this is probably only the second or third time I`ve seen finished knives.

I assume Jerry made this knife himself, right? Ground the blade and finished it, made the handles and put them on? You older souls would know better than me, but this thing goes wayyy back.

Those knives were made in a counterfeit Busse crime spree years back... i have been charged with the duty of retrieving them... those two are the only ones left.... with them the authorities can finally prosecute the criminals responsible.

please send them to me to avoid legal action.:)
