Hello All,

Just getting back into the knife collectinggame after being gone for about 10 years. Looking to sell my 2002 Bocote Mnandi with born on card, box and tool. It’s been carried in an office environment but has seen almost no use and still has factory edge on it. Pristine condition. Any idea what I should ask as a fair price? Does the older age help or hurt the desirability and value? Thanks!

That might be in the ~$500 range depending on figure. Older generally helps with CRK, as does original paperwork and condition. “Old nick” Mnandi's (those with the blasted/sharper nail nick) are (slightly?) more desirable by collectors and users alike and will help increase the value.

Hah,

I’m a Josh K also. Thanks for the help.

The new ones are 375. Value doesn't drop much on a CRK.

The old style nail nick should mean a premium over the new price of $400. I’d say $500 is fair. A couple of Mnandi LNIB went for around $600 recently.

The birth date will also increase the value for some looking for that particular date.
