I’ve discovered I cannot say no to a good knife value. Regardless of price, a knife that offers quality features at a great price point will likely have me mashing the Add to Cart button.

Two examples of this are the Kaviso/QSP penguin and the Mora Robust.

The Kaviso Penguin brings a titanium frame lock on ceramic bearings with an S35VN blade in a sheep foot grind I prefer for EDC. The price: $109.00. More expensive than other Penguins, but this one is loaded with options.

The Mora Robust is an excellent fixed blade, equally useful for slicing tomatoes or as a pretty fair pry bar. Cost: $17.00

I’d love to hear your opinions. Let’s see if we can break my bank account 😁.

Anything from Becker.

Some Ontario, some Ka-Bar.

I like to open the South American River in a tab, search for "G10 knives", and set a price cap of $60. Lots of choices.

If you want some more traditional patterns, you could try searching the auction site for "slipjoint knife", "pocket knife" or "jack knife".

This Kizer Begleiter 2 is my favorite value folder. I bought it on sale for $35 basically just to see what it was about and because it was half price. I thought that I wasn't really going to like it and was regretting it right after I hit buy. But, it's turned out to be just an amazing knife. Smoother than just about anything else I have while still having absolutely zero blade play, and the N690 blade takes a screaming sharp edge super easily and cuts for a decent bit.

I really like this A.G. Russell One Handed Knife too. These two knives have taken the craziest edges out of anything in my collection.

The One Hand knife has been on my radar.

A little pricier, but I have a Begleiter XL button lock that's VERY nice. And for $90ish, it's still not expensive by any means.

entropy1049 entropy1049 I'd recommend it man! It's a really cool knife. It's old school though, it's not like a super smooth bearing knife or anything like that. However it was made well and they finished it really nicely, the whole integral handle is nicely sanded on the flats and the edges. Be aware if you get one that there's atleast two different versions. There's a new age model that, I have a feeling is less quality, and then there's the original model like I showed in that picture. I know A.G. Russell found some of the old ones laying around and last I looked you could get one on their website.

Insipid Moniker Insipid Moniker Yea that looks badass man. I love me a good button lock. Those scales look sweet too. I actually just bought the kind of modified sheepsfoot Begleiter 2 yesterday and a Swayback. The huge river site has a special for buy one get one free on a few different Kizer models so I had to spring for it again.
