I'm about to purchase a Van Hoy Snap lock. I want to take the clip off of it when I first get it. Does anybody know what I need to take the screws out with? It is just a normal screwdriver or something like torx? Thanks a lot for all the help guys.

It comes with the tool to take it off. Also includes another clip for left pocket carry.

I would not get the Snap Lock. Get something else, anything. A buck 110 would be a lot better bang for your Buck. (ha ha pun not intended)

Try a Kershaw Chive, Scallion, or Leak

how about a Spyderco Delica 4

anything but the Snap Lock......................its a novelty at best.

I gave mine away, its fun to play with but its not a "real" user of a knife.

I have one and SO-LO is right it holds an edge about like a cheap Gerber if you can get an edge on it. It is also awkward in the hand.

Yeah, I know it's not much of a useful knife. I'm actually getting it as more of a novelty. I just like the look of it and showing it off to people. Thanks for all the help.

i've got one.. they come up occasionally on one of those one deal at a time websites.. got mine there for quite cheap, its a fun toy, usually stays in my bag unless im bored.
