From my understanding the nitrogen acts like carbon, forming "nitrides" in complex alloys & leaves the steel much less prone to rusting. Since plain iron rusts, why would carbon make steel more vulnerable to rust? And most importantly, does this nitrogen-based technology mean that it's possible to can have non-rusting ingot O1, A2, 5160, ect?
