Vanguard R or 119 Special?

Which of these knives would be better for an all around hiking/ camping/ hunting knife. I would appreciate any info on edge retention and durability. Basically I would like to know if any of you guys could only take one of these into the wilderness, which one would it be and why.

You probably can't go wrong with either. I,ve carried a 119 in the woods since '93, and really like it. First dertermime what you intend to use it for. Take a good long look at the Pathfinder mod #105. About as general all around a knive for camping/hunting as you can find. Add a Folding Saw, or Hatchet, and continue to march
