I was considering buying a buck vanguard w/ the s30v blade from cabelas for my hunting knife for next year. Can anyone tell me if the tang extends all the way through the handle and if anyone has a diagram of this tang and handle configuration? Thanks for your help.

I bought the s30v from Cabelas 2 years ago. It is a good all around knife. I keep buying other knives to use but keep going baack to the Vanguard. The blade holds the edge great. The Vanguard picture does not look as good as this anymore, it has seen some hard use just to see what it can handle.
