Vantage Avid

For those of you guys who haven't checked one out yet, you must do so. Made in the USA, great steel, very classy-looking handles, deep pocket clip, cheap price tag. Oh yeah :thumbup:

Good write up-feel pretty much the same-I've handled them but dont have one-I have a Pro but see an Avid in the crystal ball. I prefer the Dymondwood scales to the G-10.

One thing I'm suprised is that you had to do anything to the blade. My pro came beyond wicked sharp and my buddys avid was the same way. Esp surprised because Sandvik is a surgical and razor steel specialist to my understanding.

My Avid came sharp as a razor,and the Dymondwood scales are great.The pocket clip is fantastic!The blade shape and deployment are outstanding.I can't see anything not to like about this knife,including the price.
