Has anyone had one of the vantages apart that could tell me how does the blade stop when open. most linerlocks I've seen the back of the blade contacts a pin or the back spacer. At first I thought the liner lock performed both functions but found that by holding it out of the way something internal stops the blade.
thanx for any help,

It's a really neat little design, actually. The stop pin actually runs through the blade and moves with the blade. The liners have little crescent-shaped tracks cut into them that the stop pin rides along. When the stop pin hits either end of the crescent, the blade stops. It's a pretty nifty design that makes the knife look aesthetically that much cleaner and simpler.

Thank you gunda, I couldn't get enough light in there to see that .
Very clever bit of engineering there!
