Vantage force pro

Hey guys I'm pretty new to the buck sub forum and new to their knives as well. However I am very interested in the vantage force pro and am wondering if you guys have some experience with it. For example:
-How do you like the handles?
-How does bucks s30v compare to the likes of spyderco and benchmade?
-How does it flip?
-How do you like the liner lock on the knife?

Anything else is fair game as well, personal experience both good and bad about the knife is welcomed and pictures if you got em!

It's hands down my favorite Vantage.

Handles....Great, very grippy.
S30V, seems as good as Benchmades, never had a Spyderco in it, so can't compare.
Flips easy, I'm a southpaw, so the liner lock blocks a little of the thumbhole, so I did a "zip tie" thumbstud mod, and it works great. Very smooth.
Liner lock is solid, at first glance you might thing it look very thin, but I've never had it slip, and lockup is rock solid.

I can't find a picture of the zip tie thing I mentioned above on my Vantage Force Pro, but here's one of it on my Vantage Force Select.

 
Hmmmm it definitely seems like a winner then! My big concern was the flipper aspect but if it's good I might be in for a Christmas present
 
I don't have the force pro, nor have I handled one but I do have the vantage avid ant it flips really well and its an awesome knife. As stated already the zip tie mod works, if you use the thumb hole the blade deploys extremely fast, I personally prefer the flipper I give mine a small wrist flick to get it all the way out; I haven't put any oil on it yet because I haven't hand the time with college and all my other life tasks, but with a vantage i'm sure you will love it. As for the liner lock, I too haven't had any problems with it disengaging with use, and it not a pain to disengage it. Good luck with your purchase, let us know how you like it once you gave it the run for a couple weeks.
 
i will, but that may be kind of far off lol because now i just gotta wait till christmas comes haha
