Vantage Grind...on the Edge.

I'm looking for some advice on the Buck Vantage line. I have 5 of them in the family collection. The most recent was purchased in DEC 2020, but has a bit of a goofy edge grind from the factory. Are my expectations too high?

Again...there are now 5 of the Vantage line in the family collection. My son and I sent 2 of them in for warranty in October for a new pocket clip and a new pivot pin. I broke the clip months ago and lost the pin last year.

We were surprised when the blades came back from warranty service also in DEC 2020. The blades were sharpened...and the edges seem off a bit. Is this normal? am I being too picky?

those could have been done better i think.

some are better than others though in general. heres 2 I had laying nearby as examples. one better than the other, but both cut and work as knives fine....16098956173493070240334055672633.jpg

each one i own, think i have a dozen or so of them, is slightly different. factory hand sharpening is what caused that.

contact Buck, im sure they can help sort it out for ya more towards your liking.

So...they sharpen them by hand at the factory and this is normal?
or...they sharpen them by hand and these edges are abnormal?
