I have googled various reviews about this knife here but have not seen anything for a while. I was wondering if the initial QC issues about off center blades and failing lock ups has been taken care of. Anyone with some recent info please?
 
At the 1st roll out there were some lock up issues but IRC the blade locked up too late past center. I dont remember anyone having one fail. My blade is off center left when closed but other than that works perfectly. I think the vast majority of negative criticism was for very early models and the production issues have been ironed out.

Check back a few pages for a similar thread-there was some mention of a store selling them for $44-you'll love the knife and at that price you'll really love it. Thought I got a good deal at $48 plus $8 shipping.
 
The blade centering issue takes about 2 seconds to fix. Just turn the blade pivot screw one way or the other and you can center the blade easily.:)

I agree Eric and did that but 2 issues occured for me. 1) It tighted up the pivot too much for my liking as I like to pointer finger the flipper to open. 2) It moved back left of center after a week or 2.

I got over it after a couple trips to the knife shrink and just left it there.
If I'm doing it wrong please educate me.

I adjusted mine a couple of weeks ago and it is still centered. It didn't seem to tighten up the blade much on mine. I can still flick it open with the flipper. Maybe yours was more off center than mine. But so far it seems to be staying in the center.

Thanks Eric I think I'm stuck with mine the way it is unless I send it back which I'm no longer obscessed about it enough to do that. I found this thread a way back and this is a pretty good representation of what position mine settles into without tightening the pivot more.

Oh BTW if seen a number of your works on the bay-I have to become a customer at some time:thumbup:
