vantage vs drawer = broken clip

So i get back form camping today,and as i was walking in my kitchen my vantage's clip snags a slightly open drawer and breaks the clip and striped the two screws holding the liners together at the but of the knife under the scales

should i try to get new screws or just send it in?

based on your description of stripped screws it is unclear what structural damage may have been done to the knife. If there was no damage to the knife we could certainly send some new screws.

I say send it in and let us fix it.

the screw holes are fine, one of the screws under the scales threads where striped off, also the screw was oddly discolored so the screw might have had a bad heat treat. i did call the wonderful wanenty department and left a message. thanks cj you buck guys are awesome.:thumbup:
