My son and I wanted to make some micarta so the first batch goes on his Vantage.
It didn't turn out great but not bad. We used jeans with some paper to add contrast. Next time I will leave out the paper.
Here it is next to my Vanage.

The clip side is a little better.

Long live the Vantage.

That looks great for your first batch. I have been curious as of late about Micarta, and actually envisioned blue jean material for a base fiber. Well done!

Good effort. Jeans will work, just press it and it comes out looking like canvas micarta. Which gives a better grip than linen micarta. DM

That looks real nice! I actually like that contrast you have on the "front" side of the handle.

Thanks, Next I am going to rehandle my BK16. It should be easy after the little Vantage.

To say it didn't turn out great I think is giving yourself too little credit. Looks fine to me. Wish I had your skill.

My son has used it for a few days now & he seems to like it. I will say it was a PITA to mill out the stop pin slots with a cordless drill & not the right Dremel bits. Thanks all
