Vaquero Grande vs. Voyager X2

I own a Vaquero XL, great knife, tough and well made. The XL with his 5 " blade is a really impressive knife but thin enough to be carry inside the pant (forget the pocket). The serration are really effective especially for cutting some material like leather or rope but will probably difficult to be re-sharpen. Because of the size of the X2/Grande, I doubt will carry this knife for utility task. If you are looking for an "extreme" folder for SD, both are a excellent choice and serration is a good option ...

Stay safe ;)

Had both, sold both, got both again :)

As for which one I'd give up, I'll have to say neither. However, the Voyager is A LOT easier to sharpen :D

I have both and would give away VG because is has been beat to hell.My X2 is PE and is easier to sharpen.

The VG has more cutting power due to the recurve. Lansky makes a dogbone sharpener just for CS serrations (less than $10) that works quick and easy.
