Varathane clear plastic oil??

A wood-working friend today suggested that I try the Varathane Clear Plastic Oil on my saws, other shop equipment and even as a finish on knives.

Anyone have any first-hand experience with this stuff?

I've used varathane liquid plastic before as a varnish. But, I've never heard of varathane clear plastic oil. It's much better than polyeurathane because it ages better and doesn't seem to brown out like poly. That's all I know about it.

I contacted Flecto and they still sell it. I will post again after it arrives and I have a chance to use it.
