variable speed

what do you think about getting this, selling the motor and getting a bigger one? if this wont cut it or is a bad deal what would be the cheapest way to get a variable speed setup?

You won't find cheap DC motors to upgrade that with.

I have a DC controller waiting for a DC motor and I'm still looking.


A common Variable speed setup is a VFD and 3 phase motor.

That setup might be useful to make a disk sander from. The pump can be removed and the motor used to mount the disk. Fincor controls are good units.
