Hard to believe but after 12 annual Blade Forum, Traditional Forum's annual knives we actually have 4 variations of our own tang stamp. Because of different sized blades and subsequently different real estate available for the tang stamp it was inevitable that we'd need more than 1 tang stamp. So as a result of the choices we made, we have accrued 4 different tang stamps in the last 8 years, (only need to make it till 2019 to have a full set of 10 BFC tang stamps to cover the decade 0f 2010-2019.
There's the large 2 line arched premiered 2010 followed by the large 3 line curved, 2 line small arch used beginning in 2015 and the most recent variation making its debut last year in 2017 with the 4 line curved stamp.
When we started this with about 35 people back in 2008 I never suspected we'd still be discussing the use of a Blade Forum's tang stamp 12 years later. So here for the folks who didn't even know we had our own tang stamp. (For those historians keepin' track), here are the 4 stamps currently in use during the 2010-2020 decade.
