hey guys and gals.. here's my versions of a jump style knife. same size and dimentions as most. 4 1/2 inches of usable blade, 4 1/2+ handle, with a 3/16" 12c27 blade and micarta handles. two variations on a theme, saber ground with natural canvas (glass bead blasted) and the other with a slight convex flat grind with black canvas and flared brass tube... for the "lashing it to a spear" lovers out there.

thanks for lookin

Royce

Don't be shy guys.. if you got nothing nice to say... say something you don't like. critisism welcomed. we all know that we think our stuff is perfect the way it is, but i put these on here to get a second (or third) opinion.

P.S. don't worry about my feelings.

I like the top one more. It seems sleeker. Higher speed and lower drag! However both are awesome.

Thanks Hugo... I appreciate the compliment. the convex grind and holes are a little more practical, but I like the looks of the loveless pins and crisper grind lines too.

They look fine, nice users, but I can't say I'm crazy about your logo. Just looks strange to me. I suggest you put your name on your blades.

I like the top one better, but I agree what's up with your mark/logo. I understand the difficulty in deciding how to mark your work and I have ruined several of my pieces marking them. Great work unusual mark

Like the top one better, both nice. Since it was described as a jump knife, what kind of sheath system for it two lash down or take the riggers of a jump? I could see this being a smoke jumper knife lashed to a vest. Kydex with an extra snap to keep secure.

I'd like the saber only acid or stone washed with the tubes. For the scales I am more of a wood guy.
