Well, I had a good day yesterday. I was on the way home from having lunch with my wife at her office, and I decided to stop by a little variety/junk store that I'd passed a few times. I wasn't expecting much of anything, it's kind of a little hole in the wall place, but just wanted to look around. So I went in and was looking over a meager knife selection, mostly Chinese and Pakistani stuff, when something caught my eye. I took a closer look at the case and sure enough, there was a small single blade linerlock knife with the Uncle Henry shield. I didn't let my hopes get up yet, expecting one of the new Chinese Taylor brand ones, so I asked to see it. I opened the blade up and there were the words I was hoping to see, "Schrade+ USA". The guy was wanting 15 for it, but since it didn't have a box and had been sharpened at least once, I managed to talk him down to 10. So I'm now the new owner of a razor sharp (trust me, I know this for a fact), lightly carried, USA made Uncle Henry 197UH cat's paw linerlock.
Just goes to show, they're out there if you're willing to look.
