Hey all just won this on ebay. It looks similar to a cqc7 fixed blade. This was the knife used in the movie Tears of the Sun. Never heard of this knife before I saw it on ebay and emailed EKI but no answer yet. Anyways any info from anyone on it? thanks

PS this was a special run done by diamond back tactical. If you ever see the front cover of the cd for the movie mentioned it will show Bruce Willis with this knife strapped to his combat harness.

Apparantly he uses an Emerson PUK and Kandahar fixed blade in that film, he also has a SOG X-42 according to the blurb i just read.

NO pics but I'll put a link up with pics hopefully. It isn't the Kandahar it is the one on his right shoulder. Same sheath and handle looking anyways. I'll try and get a pic up though. Thanks for the info and keepem sharp

I thought the PUK was a clip point. This is a tanto point and it is a bit bigger than the 7. I've tried to find info on it to no avail. Has the diamond back logo though. I don't even know the anacronym the fella is using. VBSS what the hell's that stand for? thanks for all the info. keepem sharp
 
yes, i just noticed the tanto/clip difference.

the tanto may have been at the request of diamondback tactical.
