Vc-3 on the pivot?

I remember reading a thread and alot of guys recommended this stuff. Is this the right stuff? Just want to make sure this is it before i buy it and put it on my xm. And does it actually work where you can take the pivot screw off up to 5 times before having to re apply?

Correct, and I recommend that product for the pivot. It provides enough resistance to prevent the pivot from moving, allows for adjustment as needed and doesn't lock up to extent of loctite.
