Or at least something with a good quality blade that can take a resharpening...
I'm probably one of the last few fat boys who eat potatos and I prefer peeling them myself.
Any suggestions or clues?

Why not use a sharp knife? I have tried all types of those peelers, and they work fine to start but never stay sharp.

Supposedly they can be sharpened with a Sharpmaker rod, at least according to Sal in the Sharpmaker video. I have never really tried it though. Someone has manged to bend and mangle the one in my house, probably my mother.

I've been using one of those swiss made peelers for years. Never really need to sharpen them and they peel really quickly. But since i've bought the sharpmaker i've tried sharpening them just for fun.

Potato Peeler

Mine is all steel though. Just a skeletal frame and the blade at the end. Bought it at one of those Ideal Home Shows.

I don't know if the OXO Good-Grips' blade can be replaced, but that is the best one, IMO.
