I just received my knife from Mr Velarde today, and it is a wonderful knife, Walrus ivory, gold pins, etc.

The best thing about dealing with Mr Velarde is he is extremely helpful and professional. He was a very nice person to talk to and he explained everything about his knives to me, I cannot wait to get another one of his knives.
 
Ricardo is a very good friend of mine and you just can't do any better. His attention to detail approaches a level of near perfection that only a very few knifemakers possess.

Steven, congratz on your knife, owning a knife from Ricardo Velarde would be a thrill. You're a lucky man.

Bob D., you're a lucky man too to have him as a very good friend. You have some very cool friends. ;)
 
I've also had the pleasure of becoming friends with Ricardo. This man is not only a fine knifemaker but a gentleman as well.

I hope his reading this thread doesn't make his head to large to get in the shop. LOL.

I'm lucky to have a couple of his Integrals and are waiting on more.
