Some of my own steel I forged with 1080 and 15N20, c. 720 layers. The scales are vintage rag micarta with G10 backing.
OAL 145mm 5,7 inch
Cutting edge 61mm 2,4 inch
Folded 86mm 3,46 inch
33g 1,2 ounce
BESS 150-165g
HRC 61

That defines sleek!
With such seriously dark etch, it’s almost like it’s saying “yes it’s a damascus blade but it’s for me to know not to show off for you”.

Thank you! Sorry I am bit late... Yes, bold patterns have their place but I like finer patterns. Appreciate the time/comment. Ig

Thank you James! I am glad you like it. I make the knives so I like them, unfortunately there are not many. It is the ultimate compliment to me to buy one and I hope it eventually happens. I am going to sell through my website mailing list so folk who are interested know where and when a knife becomes available.

Brilliant, thank you v much, and for alerting me about the old link to the site in my profile, I fixed it. I will eventually populate it sufficiently as I do want to promote my independence from the social media platforms. Ig:thumbsup:

Well ilknives ilknives - I managed to find my way to your web site but not through your link. Though the address appears correct I can't get there through the link. I actually don't know how I managed but I did. Just passing on the problem.

Here is what I get from your link. Maybe it is my server issue. Sorry to muddle up your thread. But I thought you would care to know.

No problem, how can I be annoyed when you helping me, appreciate it. I think the old (unsecured) link may be causing s prob so I copied the current one... here’s hoping. It works for me but that does not mean it does for others. Thanks again!
