Hi there !

The Dutch Knife Exhibition is coming, so I was told... :D

Venator :
Old file (100mm cutting edge - 230mm OAL) & stabilized American walnut (THX DH III !). Gorgeous stuff, that wood...

Rounded spine with some file-work // jimping.
American handle - very comfy & secure in the hand.

The sheaths should be finished tonight (that is : if I stop reading forums... :P ).

I'll leave VERY early on Sat. morning : I'll need some strong coffee when I arrive !

Stunning work! You have perfect lines on blade and handle. Impressive

As I said on the other forum, not to worry. Belgium and the Netherlands are only like 20 kilometers wide. Even that hamster powered Skoda of yours should be able to make it in an hour or so. :p:D

"Hamster powered Citroen" - and powered by lil' French hamsters !!!

:D

And made in the USA too, oh wait what kind of file?

It was an old Nicholson file, with parallel and rather well spaced "grooves" (no idea what to call the lines / teeth on files...???).
She would still eat metal but not evenly enough, so in the forge she went... ;)
