Venev OCB 800/1200 vs Matrix 2300/4000

Looking for opinions from people who used both Venev's new OBC 800/1200 grit stones and the 2300/4000 grit Matrix diamond stones. Which one do you prefer and why?

I own the whole set of legacy venevs, and I own a 2300 grit Matrix stone.

I liked but didn't live the venevs, and we all know the issues with the 1200/2000, but the OCB Venevs have really piqued my interest. I think I'm going to order a 650 Matrix, and a 1200 OCB, but I'd love to hear a comparison first. I do need something in the 1100 matrix/800 OCB Venev range, but I'm not sure which way I'll go. A metallic bonded diamond stone may also be an option.
 
I have not used both the Matrix and the Venev OCB but what can say is this the Venev OCB stone is fine the diamonds don't fall out and the scratch pattern is much more refined then the first Venev stones and I don't regret using the Venev OCB stone.

Thank you for the feedback. The new OCB sound great to me, but I haven't been able to find ANY user reviews which was surprising. I might have to wait a little while to pick them up but I think I will.
 
I don't think you will regret getting the OCB stones they are really good stones.
