Hey all,
So I've been getting deeper into sharpening in the past couple of months. I recently got some of the smaller 6x1" Venev stones from Gritomatic to try out and they're great so I wanted to grab the larger 8x3" stones. Being a bit late to the Venev party however, I noticed that Gritomatic is out of both the Phoenix and Dragon series in the grit ratings I was interested in. Understandable due to the war.
After a bit of searching, I saw that Hapstone.pro (their official site?) has the Venev 8x3" stones in the grit ratings I was wanting. I know they're based in Ukraine so it seems their lead times are a bit long for obvious reasons which is fine with me, but has anyone ordered directly from Hapstone.pro before? If so, did you get charged any import fees/taxes/duties/etc (in the US)? The site mentioned that may be applicable but I don't have any experience with that stuff so wasn't sure how it worked.
Thanks
