I gazed at this knife for 5 mins without blinking I believe. What an amazing creation! Would sell my soul, a kidney and 3 kids for this blade :)
 
Sweet tap-dancing Jesus, that is amazing. The burl is stunning, the Damascus patter is very vivid, and it all pulls together in an incredible package.
 
Fabulous!! Beautiful Damascus, and Buckeye!! What really makes this knife a standout, is the exceptional/unique design.

ok that's freakin' cool - sinister indeed!
I'm curiius about the scallop in the butt-end of the handle scale - looks great but is that a functional or purely cosmetic feature?
 
Both functional and cosmetic, though this piece would be considered more cosmetic than functional. The handle accommodates three fingers ahead of scalloped area, so that the pinky rests in the scalloped area to balance some of the rearward pressure of the front fingers. In Reverse grip, the forefinger would lock into that area. The rear point of the handle is for punyo. These comments probably make more sense when describing a more functional version of the knife. Obviously, this knife is entirely functional, but it might get you laughed out of the local fight club if you waved it around. :)

Outstanding Jerry, that turned out gorgeous. There's so much going on, and it works together for a beautiful knife.
