Vented Earplugs?

Does anyone own vented earplugs for use while travelling by airplane? Do they really help with equalization while landing? What companies make the best models? Thanks.

I do use them, I find that having unbalanced pressure can set off motion sickness in me. Im not sure what brand mine are, they have blue tips and a clear tri-lobe back. Having clean ears also helps, but sometimes that just isn't quite enough for me. I think they help, although my testing hasn't been very scientific. I just wear them for take-off, landing and if there is turbulence that affects the cabin pressure. If you are having major discomfort, and travel a lot, you might want to look into a permanent solution, like ear tubes or grommets.
