How do most of you vent your forge that work indoors...say garage in the winter? DO I need an exhaust system that pulls how much CFM? Hood over?

A properly adjusted propane forge doesn't release much more than CO2 and water vapor. An open window or cracked door should allow enough fresh air flow. That said ,the term "properly adjusted" is a factor.I would have a CO detector in the garage to be safe. Most of the time makers open the garage door while working .The forge will heat it up pretty well in there.I use a propane fired turbo heater (forced air) set just outside the door to send hot air into the shop while working in the winter. It is always a good rule to never have any large burner going in a closed room.I would rather wear a down vest than get suffocated.
