Verizon eMail Accounts

I cancelled a server where I had a long time email address and was going to change my email address here to my ISP which happens to be Verizon. I read the FAQ and looked here but don't see a reason why Verizon is not allowed. I assume there is a good reason.

Unless it has changed, Verizon's spam filter automatically deletes any e-mail from Bladeforums, including the confirmation e-mail they send you to activate your account.
 
Well, I don't understand that - Verizon touts their wonderful spam filter so it must be true. :barf:
