Well, I'm debating between the HTC Incredible and the Droid X. I fear the X because it's a bit too big, and I fear the Incredible because the battery life is too short. Any advice on which should I choose and why?

Thanks.

Droid X here!
Size really isn't that bad after a while. Get a TPU case for it, and its pretty easy to slip in and out of pocket without turning it inside out.
I absolutely love mine!!!
For the record my wife has the Incredible, and we both much prefer the X.

If you can wait, I would HIGHLY suggest it. Verizon just announced some awesome phones coming up in Q2 this year.

"It's a high-end, feature packed device, with a 1 GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, 4.3-inch display, Android 2.2, 8-megapixel camera, and front-facing camera. It's one of many next-generation Android devices that have been (or will be) announced this week."

oh sh!t... that is a nice looking bit of gear. currently using incredible. OP, wait for this new one. and, if your into it, iphone for verizon shouldn't be too far behind.

If you can deal with the size, nothing else comes close to the X.

I agree with Krazi, though. If you can wait, I would definitely wait for the Bionic. If nothing else, the price of the X should drop then.

Incredible here, the battery life isn't too bad. Get an otterbox for it, I have the commuter and it slides in and out of the pocket pretty easily.

My dad just got the Droid X about a week ago. It does everything!!! Very easy to use too once you get use to it. He wears it on his belt so size is not an issue, BUT I think it is way to big to even be considered a pocketable phone. Overall great devise though!!!

I have to disagree. I have carried it in my pocket every day since i got it. I never even notice it.

Another reason to wait--the next generation of Android may require a dual processor phone.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I can't wait more than a few days, as my current phone is on it's last leg.

I'm leaning towards the Droid X.

i have the incredible wth the defender series ottor box man u cant beat it, my only complaint is if you have big fingers the touch screen is not great for texting, but other than that its fast as hell and the battery life gets better the more you use it
