I'll be heading up to Vermont soon. I'll be staying at a buddy's house or bumming around the mountains.

I checked some of the links to state laws from this sub-forum, and it looks like pretty much anything goes.

Can anyone confirm that, or have something else to add on VT knife laws.

You can carry a gun without permit for all the law cares in VT. The laws are based on intent to do criminal harm rather than mere possession in and of itself. That is, what the laws of all the states should be.

Only knife restriction on possession is switchblade with blades over 3 inches long.

Like the man on top said, no autos over 3" for non-LEO. Everything else is kosher.

I used to live in Vermont. Vermont is very easy on guns and knives. You can carry just about anything but a big switchblade.
