When i rotate my knives for EDC, i find i pick the two knives that best compliment each other ie one of my Wharcliff blades and an opinel, JYD II and leek, etc

anyone else do this?

I always carry a Victorinox so doesn't really matter what my second knife is.
Although carrying a Sodbuster seems kinda redundant.

yup, that's why I like this "tough" knife and slicer combo.

If I have two yes, typically small multiblade slipjoint and something tougher like my a100. Or an SE Tasman Salt and on opinel (great combo)

Now that I have an SAK classic on my keys though its less of an issue.

Whatever my EDC for the day is and a Leatherman Wave-The perfect complement :D

Always. Between my traditional EDCs, my Cybertool 29, my main EDC, my secondary EDC, and the Leatherman Squirt PS4 on my keychain and Charge TTi in my backpack, I usually have the following types of blades:

Medium sized plain edge. (sometimes 2)
Medium and/or Large serrated edge.
Small plain edge (x2)
Very small plain edge (pen blade x2)
Small or large straight edge
Medium hawkbill

Plus just about every other tool you might need in regular daily life (pliers, scissors, files, screwdrivers, TORX/allenhead bits of all sizes, caplifters, etc). Listing everything might seem like a heavy loadout, but it's not. That's why I love traditional knives like stockmans or congresses. It's very easy to get 2-4 very different, and all very useful blades in a very small package.

About the only blade style I don't have is the car door stabbing sharpened prybar.

I like my Sage/Kiwi 3 combo. Another favourite combo lately has been the Para 2/Tinker dynamic duo.

I like pairing my roughly 3" PE folder with a spyderco Cricket, so it goes well with the Mini Grip, Small Sebenza, etc, even the SNG.

I do that for sure. I EDC a Case swayback jack (wharncliffe main blade, pen secondary), Izula, and a CS Pocket Bushman. The PB sees the most work, but if I need to make precise cuts or be discreet I'll use the Case, and if I really need to tackle something difficult I'll use the Izula.
