I noticed in this video at 14:43 that he is using the neatest design of a vertical kiln I've ever seen. I inquired where to get a kiln like that and it's from a guy in Poland who goes under Mini Hell Kilns. I was wondering if there were any North American kiln makers who have something of the likes or have thought of this idea for longer blades. I know Jen-Ken has vertical blade kilns but they are top-loaders. This would be very convenient for tighter floor spaces.

I don't know anything about the sideloading kiln, but that's an impressive spear he's making.

Intersesting take on a plate quench from his instagram.

I guess he had clearance problems with the top plate bolted in.

Arbor press here is 1/3 the cost of a quick acting wood vise and is rated at a metric ton and avoids any toe in features of the vise.

Seems the upright is a custom build and priced as such. Out of my comfort zone I have limited myself to 500mm/19" with my tempering oven.

No I personally have never seen anything like that. At my work we do salt for anything that large or exacting heat treatments.
