I have "carrying" my Spyderco Moran F/W with leather crossdraw sheath for a couple of weeks now and am converted to this type of sheath for this size knife at least. It causes no problems esp. when sitting down, can be drawn easily sitting down and provides a lower profile. I have just ordered a Dozier Gentlemans Knife with a type A horizontal sheath and expect it to be similar. What type of sheath do you prefer?

I like horizontal, but be careful with crossdraw if it is a knife for defense. Slower reaction time.
