Very cool 110/560 at BCCI website

I was at the Buck Collectors Club website today, just reading and researching. I was in the "Model History"(under knives made per customers specs) section looking at knife designs customers had submitted to Buck's custom shop when it was still open. I came across a folder with a 560 style handle. The blade was shown with 2 options, a drop point with serrations and a standard clip with sawteeth on the spine and half serrated blade:thumbup: That is one terrific blade design for a 110. I'd like to see that one as a "limited edition" or a Club knife.

That blade looks very familiar.... anyone beside me recall the old Model 639 ?? It was around the time the BuckMaster survival knives were still being made... the 639 was basically a modified 119 with the blade designed almost identical to the drawing - green rubber handle and a camo nylon sheath.

I've got a Model 639 Fieldmate from 1986. The only thing it's "missing" from the above drawing is the partially serrated blade...and the ability to fold.

It's a sweet knife, but it hasn't been used to its full potential, yet.
