Here is a very good little village model that Yangdu had tossed into the blem box because of a split scabbard. This village model is 13 inches and weighs 13 ounces. The fit is pretty good and the finish is almost satin -- very good for a village model. The edge is quite hard, around 59 to 60 Rc. Very nice looking handle as you can probably see for yourself. Karda and chakma are worthless. Scabbard is pretty good but split on edge side -- probably took a hit during shipping. Frog is decent enough.

We will deliver this one to your door for $45. It will do about 90 years of work for you so figure fifty cents per year to own and use it. Not bad.

Call or email if interested.

I'll pass this time though. Someone will get a nice bargain

Although it is pretty wood on the handle...

If someone doesn't buy this double quick, I'm going to have to blow some dough

please spare me

That looks like it could have come from the same unknown kami who made my villager. A quick pass with a 120 and 220 grit belt aroung the edge of the buttcap and pommel, to create an obtuse angle, should make it a lot more comfortable to use if your hands aren't like a Nepali farmer's.

I started feeling anxious but then I went and fondled my 3 12" Sirupatis and my 2 12" AKs. Also I found out the friend in NYC I'd sent the other 12" Sirupati was going to go camping. For the first time since he was sent to summer camp. ( I told him be sure he didn't leave it at home. )

But there's something about the 12 or 13 inch ( +/- half an inch ) babies.
