Very, very graphic photos.
Last chance to not look.



Last weekend we were with leatherman and leatherose at a mutual friend's house. They were processing out a hog.

Here we see LeatherRose and her Busse with Elizabeth boning out a ham. Said Busse and ladies skinned said hog.

Then, there was the head:

Then, our sweet, beautiful pup decided she wanted to skin the skull and harvest the meat. So she and the Busses went to work:

And it was a lot of work.

Proud of a job well done.

Note: The meat was put into a stew for our german shepherd and maligator. (see Ghostwolf"s avatar for a pic of said maligator)

I did not mean to imply that said ladies skinned the piggie alone and without your most beautiful blade and amazing skill and other contributions.
besides, I did not see the skinning process and no one told me.

I personally have not wrapped my mind around my daughter enjoying the head cleaning process.

Actually truth be told ... it took four of us (Eddie & Elizabeth, Dwayne & myself) with our Busse knives (and a couple of customs) to skin that big bad piggie. She was, when hung up) longer then Dwayne is tall (hint he is 6'). Then we got to "quarter" and ice/salt her. And man is she YUMMY!! We had the ribs last night and I am currently curing the bacon (let you know how that comes out later ).
