Man, this was my first Blade Show, a new custom knife maker with 30 pounds of A-2 in my pack, just trying to meet people and get my foot in the door. First thing i wanted to see these Busse knives everyone on the forum was so crazy about, it only took me a few minutes to realize i just walked into something much greater than just big chunks of INFI.
I fell into a big family, i met people i will never forget, including Jerry. I make great knives, i know this because i use them, but, no matter how many years i can offer trouble free bliss with my knives, i cannot give the expierence that i had this weekend with the Busse Knife family.
They took me in like one of there own, i was amazed. That man and his staff make any person who buys anything from a scrap yard to a custom shop feel like a king!! Call me a new Infi addict, but, the steel is secondary.
Thank you Busse Knives and all hogs, that treated Horton Knives to a great first Blade Weekend. Jeremy

Second!
I would like to thank to whole Busse crew.My son and I had a great time.I know I was wore out at the end of Saturday night but I can only guess at how out of gas the Busse crew was but still upbeat, chipper and as nice as any people I have ever met.

Third!

and maybe next year I'll my butt to Blade to shake the man's hand in person!

oh and meet all riffraff that hangs out here! :p

.

Wish I could have been there :( I have wanted to meet Jerry, Dan, and Eric for quite sometime. If they are anything like the product they put out, I am sure they are top notch. I have had nothing but great dealings with all 3 companies.

Yep, what is it that Uncle Hammie says..."It's not just about the knives."

It was good to meet you in person Jeremy! I'll keep number 12 nice and safe here in Chicago and my brother is real happy with the blade he scored...

You put it just right when you said that you fell into a great big family...A big kool aid sippin clan we are. :D

Yea, I felt the same way. So many friendly faces to match up with internet personas.

Really a fun time!

Great time and Busse is top notch! What a family!!

Great meeting you as well Jeremy!

There were some ruffians that messed up the fountain on Thursday night.

I will say this: I wish I could have been there, and I'm glad all you porks had a good time.

Well ... you're much classier than us Hogs.

But thanks for those kind words.

Welcome to the Trough!;)

Excellent looking blades that Jeremy makes, too! I ran low on funds or my pack would have been a bit heavier.

Jeremy, it was great to have you with us.

Jeremy you beat me to this post.

You make some great knives and were a reall pleasure to meet , but your profound statement is so true.

I feel like I just came back from a family reunion!

A lot of people have beat me to this, but I need to echo Knifehunter and all the rest...just back from a family reunion! Rock on, guys!

I have to agree with you guys, from Fogos all the way to induction my wife and I were treated like that cousin missing from the reunion for several years and having to remeet everyone. It actually was our first time meeting any Hogs but it wont be the last. Next year we will stay at the Waverly so we can participate in all the activities,I think there may be some vampires in the group.

Chickenplucker is dead long live Pigletplucker!!
