Steve,

Just got the Dejavoo back in hand and I just had to start a thread to let others know what a great job was done. To say I am satisified would be a gross understatement.

I know you kid around bout bein in AARP n' all but, for an olde timer, you sure have a surgeon's hand and eye for precision. The blade is dead centered, no vertical play, no horizontal play, and this thing is smooooth. I dunno if u polished the pivot area or not, but, this thing is slick. I even tried tightening the pivot pin cuz I thought it might've been loose. No such thing. I would also have to use the analogy that others have used comparing the action of this knife to the doors of a fine luxury automobile. Opens smoothly yet locks up like a bank vault. There will be no "break in" required.

Folks, I would rate Senor STR's framlocks better than many others (customs included) on the market I've handled. Hesitation should not be a forethought if you are deciding whether to spend your hard earned money sending your knife away to Steve for turbocharging. BTW, pics available on other thread.

Glad you like it. I wouldn't mess with the pivot on it. I think I found where it functioned best on that one and it was right on the money. Those Dejavoos are some pretty nice knives even if they do slightly rub me the wrong way with the Spyderhole opener situation on some levels if I stop to think too much about it.
