Just got a Soldier and Farmer in from UPS today. First time I've ever got a slip-joint over the net without any problems. I might just have to get some others. :D

I have a Soldier too and a Farmer is on order. I hope to get it this week. I think the quality is very good especially when you consider the relatively low price. I own many other Victorinox SAK's and other knives, but rationally a knife like the Soldier is good enough for most of my cutting needs.

The prices were both very attractive especially for the quality. $18 for the Soldier and $21 for the Farmer.

Knivesplus.com . Shipping was 7.95 however. Service is good though. And they're just $250 miles from me so it comes pretty fast. I'm in the lower 48. Don't know if the ship outside of country.

I have said it before and I'll say it again:

For performance and utility and durability, you simply cannot beat the aluminum scaled Victorinox SAKs.

My favorites are the Electrician and the Pioneer Harvester.

Good luck,
Allen.

Settler and Soldier here. :D
The Settler is the perfect EDC that I spent years searching for.

glad you like it. The settler is a classic (no pun intended). BTW, if you ever think that the Settler is too big, check out the Victorinox Secretary or Bantam. It is pretty remarkable how much that quarter inch makes a difference in size.
