I am very impressed with the edges you guys put on these ABS knives. You definitely went all out in fixing the sharpening issues of late, just like you said you would.

You can really tell that you set out to put out some very sharp edges, and you definitely accomplished that mission!

My CABS is one of (if not THE) sharpest knives I've ever received from a knifemaker.

You should definitely be proud of yourselves.

Before I opened my early Christmas present I would have to say consistently Bark River and Spyderco have always been the sharpest out of box. These three that I got are easily the equal or better of any knife I have ever received from anyone. Of course, the zero edge convex to me was a very pleasant surprise. Some people prefer a V grind though so I guess not everyone will be ecstatic. I was though. Perfect edges, they should all come like that, even the coated ones.
 
Another +1 here. My "Sharpened by Josh" CABS is at least as sharp out of the box as any Spyderco or Fallkniven I've bought. :cool:
 
very,very impresive knife[i got the cabs].razor sharp edge,smoothed edges on the spine and butt,killer black paper,lightweight and perfect balance.whats not to like!! thanks jerry:thumbup::thumbup:
 
I have to agree with everyone else.

I got my CABS in and it's easily the sharpest knife I've gotten -- custom or production -- EVER.

You certainly fixed the dull blade problem -- in spades!

Heck yea!... Sharp...Sharp... and sharp!


Also,I just picked up a couple HC 4.0's from the Swamp (sharpened by David),and they are as sharp as my ABS's ...

David,Beef, and Garth did some GREAT work on these blades! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:


I think the pressure is on the Dawgs now..... They need to hurry and ship my Scrapivore so I can compare...! :D

After a couple of minutes on the strop, mine is probably as sharp as any knife I own, including some I spent a lot of time on.

And now, the sheath decisions....
